Anxiety

Mommy's feeling rather different today. Must be the hormone change in her. From what she's been able to tell me, she is somewhat.. anxious and scared at the same time. Yup! Being pregnant AGAIN is stressing her. And for some reason, she feels daddy is of no help -- even if he already assured her everything will turn out fine in the end.

At least there's some good news regarding mommy's job. She is extended until January so that means she'll have her 13th month pay. Yehey! At least I'd get to have a nice, simple first birthday party.. I am excited.. three months to go!

And yeah, mommy is still frustrated my hair is still short and I don't have even a single tooth. I can stand perfectly now, inside my crib that is, but can't walk yet (tinatamad pa talaga ako maglakad.. walker walker muna... hahaha)

So back to mommy's dilemma. hay.. drama!!

Daddy went on a party today with his wavemates and somehow mommy refuses to text him back. Mommy still have trust issues when it comes to daddy. However, doesn't do anything about it.. for NOW that is. Call it selfishness (at least that's how i see it..)

My mom's pretty mixed up on her emotions. She is already having a hard time on dealing with the pregnancy. And yes, she is having financial problems. She can't even afford to go through an ultrasound to determine how many weeks my sibling is. Mommy is worried since she got drenched in flood during the typhoon. Not to mention the medicines she took when she had colds and had her toothache extracted. She is worried as to what the baby would turn out to be. Worst of all, she is afraid as to what lolo would have to say.

Stressed as she may feel.. i know she is trying her best to find a solution to all her problems. Financial.. Emotional.. I pity her sometimes. I am just glad that she tells me I am making her happy despite everything she is going through.

I just hope she'll learn to tell the truth. I hope she'll learn when and how to tell them to ease some burden.

Bored... Bored...

Mommy's at work and I am here on her bed sleeping soundly.. Love it! :)

But in between slumber, I dreamed of her in her desk.. bored to death as she is running out of stuff to do while sitting. I dreamt of her cheking thru her emails, answering to her bosses, and wishing she had a proxy that could work so she can use youtube... hahaha (my mom is so into illegalities talaga!)

Mom's daily routine (when she reaches home):

1. Complain about the flood, and the traffic (this is her first activity eversince Typhoon Ondoy left the disgusting flood). She doesn't take the taxi anymore during the daytime to save some money (good job mommy!) then text daddy she's home

2. Slobber me with a kiss that makes me either really irate or happy she's finally home.

3. Smoke cigar.. now she is fighting the urge not to because she is pregnant again... hehehe

4. Take a bath. She doesn't carry me when she hasn't taken a bath yet

5. Watch TV with me in my walker.
***I love watching commercials. I would scream my lungs out if they would switch it to another channel... or worse, turn the big box off***

6. Sleep and set her alarm she doesn't really follow
***My mom is now hooked up on her "self-declared flexi sched***

7. Wake up -- take a bath -- complain about the flood some more -- hail a cab -- off to work.

8. Log in -- open PC -- check email -- work some -- sulk herself to boredom (not unless there really is an issue on the floor)

So there... :)

Random Acts...

OK.. I'm back...

And mommy and daddy just got their salary... yehey!!! At least I'm happy... **hahahaha**

So there, the icky, disgusting flood hasn't subside in our area. Only a few centimeters was chopped off. At least now, trikes and "pedicab" are able to pass in our area. That made mommy at least a bit relieved.

So today's the 1st of the month. And my parents already received their long awaited salary. And yes, mommy was again having a hard time budgetting her money (this happens almost every 15th and 30th of the month.. tsk.. tsk.. ang gastos nia kase eh.. promise!). At least they were able to buy my important stuff -- milk, diapers, cerelac, bath wash, alcohol.. etc.. :) And yes, my vitamins and hers..

After that, they went to GUILLY's for an eat all you can buffet (yung kapatid ko nakatikim ng eat all you can ah.. hmp). Daddy as usual pig himself out... hahaha! Ninong Lance was with them also. During the course of the meal, ninong finally revealed his alter ego. Well, not really revealed.. more of a "pag-amin". He is really good I might say. Or he is plain "schizophrenic" hehehe...

Right after lunch, they accompanied ninong Lance to buy some personal stuff then headed home.

Daddy was only there for less that 10 minutes... huhuhu... hmp! I missed him kase. He did not stay long as he watched a game in Araneta. Too bad their team lost against Ateneo...

Typhoon Ondoy

Saturday.. September 26, 2009 at around 10 am

Mommy and daddy just got off their gruesome work (at least for mom, don't know about my dad.. hehe) and it was raining very hard already. Typhoon Ondoy was then making his mark. My parents decided to head to glorietta since mommy was so maarte as she didn't have any barya for 1k (sosyal po ako talaga kaya taglish dapat).

So their, after a few minutes of walk in Glorietta (kumain pa kase sila ng mais at squidball) they decided to go home. Mommy taking the taxi (since may barya na xa) and daddy taking the MRT. Hindi pinapunta ni mommy si daddy kase si Tita Elvie nasa bahay, crowded na (tita Elvie is lolo's gf.. o di ba lang).

So there. It was raining very hard and mommy was stranded inside the cab infront of McKinley Hill. OA ang traffic. Unaware si mommy na abot leeg na yung baha sa pinakaunahan ng traffic. The vehicles didn't move.. at all.. for roughly 20-30 minutes. I can just imagine my mom being irritated. And yes as usual, magkatext din sila ni Daddy nun. Daddy was also stranded somewhere in Ortigas and he was then soaking wet from the heavy rain.

So there, turns out that some MMDA officials made 3 counter flows in our area for all vehicles to pass. Mommy's cab was able to make it but had to walk from the hi-way to our apartment. And yes, mommy made the dreadful walk/waist high swim to our apartment. Just imagine the mud.. the dirty raging water.. the rain.. the trash floating all around... Makes one go "Eeeewww!!!". Good thing may nagpatuloy sa mommy ko habang malakas ang ulan, nahalata kaseng p***** xa eh (hehehehe). On top of that, hinatid xa hanggang sa may apartment namin.

On the other hand, daddy was experiencing the same hell's wrath (hell talaga.. sabi ni mommy delubyo talaga eh). He was stranded as well causing him to go back to their office. And yes, like mommy.. he experienced walking on flood and getting real wet. Kawawa naman xa.. According to him, he boarded a truck just to get in a bus going to the office (sorry no pictures available yet, i will post next time, kase di pa ko marunong eh). He ended up going to Ninong Cyd's apartment -- which was also flooded. Both of them went back to the office for a sleep since the apartment was then a hopeless case.

Until now, the flood infront of our apartment hasn't gone down. Mommy's so frustrated and irritated as these may probably cause a skin disease (sino ba naman kase ang gustong lumusong sa mabaho at nakakadiring baha everytime na papasok sa work di ba?).

As for daddy, well.. he is doing fine already. Thank God.
Mommy.. kaya mo yan.. maarte ka lang kasi talaga.. Love you! **mwaah!!**
